  23. Yes, green tea is really good for us. If we don't go fooling with it by adding lots of sugar or milk. They even sell it here cold in bottles!

  24. i drink hot green tea in winter. however, you have to be careful on which brands you purchase. many of the most popular have massive amounts of pesticides in their products. tea leaves are never washed so any chemicals used in the growing process go straight into your cup.

  29. Hi there!

I started drinking green tea twenty years ago when I was young(er) and less experienced and believed in "green tea health benefit lists"...

As a matter of fact green tea has a lot of positive attributes. The problem is the cultivation and the pesticide pollution of the tea plants - so TexWisGirl is right!.

So if you drink (green or black) tea regularly, you have a good chance to contaminate / poison your body with all these pesticides step by step.

So you really should make sure that the tea you drink regularly is not polluted by substances that harm your body more and interfere the positive effect of the green tea!

In my humble opinion it's most important to drink WATER regularly - and every now and then you may put some green the or herbal teas leaves inside.

Healthey rest of your life! ;-)

    Uwe.

  37. Thanks for stopping by at my post and leaving behind a comment. Made me happy to see that you were there and that u shared ur own feelings.
This post of urs great information about greeen tea. My problem is i get stuck with which one to go for. Call it consumerism or what the food malls these days are stacked with all kinds of green teas.Herbal, Organic, with and without favors, then there are green tea bags, and others which have to be just put in boiling water...oh it's all so confusing. So i just pick up a box of Twinnings and come home. But when i am near the cash register i keep thinking should i have taken the Organic one or perhaps the herbal one. Some amount of anxiousness still prevails. Now tell me is that good enough.
