Why I love eating Apple among all the fruits

Whenever I think about Apple, I feel cherished and tempted to enjoy the texture and taste of it. The reddish colour attracts me to eat whenever I see them on my dining table. I love eat raw apple, as fresh as possible. We buy apples once or twice in a week instead of storing it in our freezer, it helps to eat them fresh. Apple juice is one of my favourite when I feel thirsty. Apple comes in three colours such as Red, Yellow, Green and each one has its unique taste.

Apple is an easy source of vitamins and it has many health benefits. Hence, it’s been called as “King of Fruits”. It is easy to add apple in our daily diet as it's available throughout the year. There is a famous saying that "An Apple a day keeps the doctor away". Yes, it’s always prevention is better than cure. I’m happy to share some of the benefits of having Apple in our regular diet.

Get bright white teeth: Apple is rich in fibre, and it is one of the must have for our body. When we chew and eat the apple the fibre presents in the apple fight with the bacteria and protects our teeth from getting infected. It cleans our teeth, gums and reduces the formation of cavity in the teeth and helps in secretion of saliva in our mouth.

Keeps cancer away: Researchers found that some fruits and veggies have the ability to prevent cancer. Apple is one of them having anti-cancer agent. However, the fact on the cancer prevention by Apple is unclear yet to be proven, it shouldn’t stop us adding apple in our daily food.

Have clear digestion: As Apples are rich in fibre, it helps our digestive system to process it easily. If we eat apple regularly, we feel healthy and we can get rid of constipation and any other stomach related problems.

Good to beat (Heart): The fibre presents in apple plays an important role for our heart, it sucks out the unwanted cholesterol from our heart veins and arteries to keep the beats going. This reduces the Heart diseases as we age.

Run the diabetics out: Apple controls the blood sugar level, good to add this in our regular diet to keep the diabetics out. The Polyphenols present in apple helps to reduce the carbohydrates in the body. This in-turn reduces the blood sugar level from the blood stream.

I used to eat an apple every day when I worked but I've fallen out of the habit. I should get some. Fuji are my fave and Washington apples are THE BEST!

Hello!:) Hubby and I eat an apple a day, I think that it's not only delicious, but more satisfying than many other fruits. I have been told that it's the red fruits that are better for you,...if you have cancer for example!!

Apples are definitely good for us... My problem is that I'm PICKY --and there are some apples I do NOT like. My favorite here is Honey Crisp....It's a crispy apple but sweet.... AND---we can't get it throughout the year. When we can, it's quite expensive... BUT--we eat them when we can get them...

We do eat an orange every day --which is also good for us.
