Leading a Happy Life

Everyone in this World wants to lead happy and joyful life. But, most of us don’t know how to get it or sometimes we failed to notice that we are already in the joy of happiness. So, how to be happy or how to feel happiness in our life?

First, listens your inner voice, it will tell you what you are interested, where you can find it, how to find it. Yes, we all busy in our daily robotic life, but have some time to cultivate the things what your inner voice wants. Thus, feed your inner soul.

Live your life within the means of what you earn. If you spend more than your earnings then you lose your happiness at one point of time.

Learn to love everyone you meet, wish them at first. Always, have smile in your face.

Don’t look at others for what they are having.

Take care of your health; allot time everyday to tune up your muscles; be alone for sometime in a day.

Develop any hobby in life, get interested in gardening, reading, traveling etc.

Don’t set extraordinary goals, be clear, plan what you want and move towards it.

Save for your rainy day. It doesn't depend on how much you are earning. Get yourself insured.

Take time to read good books, make it custom to indulge yourself in a book at least a hour.

Listen melodious music before going to bed. It will calm you and take you into the resting mood.

Take care of your family; If possible get involved in charity activities.

Remember, Happiness is all within you. There are people who are earning less than $1 per day and there are Billionaires earning more than $1 per second. But, you cannot say who is happy and who isn't.

Great advice, all. Although at age 50 I am completely financially ruined. We try to keep within our budget but due to expensive truck repairs and such, it's very hard to save.

All of these are wonderful advice but especially get involved in charity activities. Serving others helps us become less selfish and in the process more happy.

As I overheard a woman once say to a grumbling teen, life is what you make of it. God gave us so many riches in His creation and revealed His love for us in Jesus. We find our happiness, rest, and peace in Him. No one else satisfies. Too often people are waiting for someone else to make them happy. Our happiness is a daily choice. And you're so right about the money. Many are happy without it, and many who have it are desperately unhappy.

These are all such meaningful tips. I do think the living within your means, content with what you have without concern for what others have that you don't, is really a practice worth cultivating.

Is that a huge vase with flowers inside? So unusual! Happiness comes and goes, but true joy is not so elusive.

Such good reminders. Abe Lincoln said that, "most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." Yet, through the years I've learned there are a few secrets to enjoying the happiness that is all around us. Your blog post has some of these secrets in it; great post.
