Chennai Crocodile Bank - One of largest Crocodile Park

The Crocodile Park in Chennai is a must see place when you are visiting India. Crocodile bank located 25 KM from Chennai and it will take 45 minutes travel on Road. This park plays very important role in spreading awareness on the ecological benefits of Crocodiles. This is one of the largest reptile zoos in the World.

Crocodile bank has more than 2500 reptiles from all around the World. Crocodiles are kept in bunches in open pond, its very rare to see them moving around. But, when staff throw a piece of meat you can see the activeness of these crocodiles. It’s awesome to see the way it catches the food from the feeder.

Visitors will get interactive experience in guided tours organized by Crocodile park officials, can collect interesting information about these species and its a great place for research students. No one should miss the snake venom centre in this park where they demonstrate the venom extraction which is used for making anti-venom medicine. It is spine chilling experience to see the deadly poisonous snakes are handled at ease by professionals.
